| Why do you want to become a nanny? |
| I desire to become a nanny because I have a true passion and love for children in my heart. I always love working with children and I try to be very creative in my approach when it comes to the children''s learning styles and discipline. I have been known to make many "treasure hunts" and creative games to help keep the children entertained and to always keep them challenged. I love to teach creative ways to clean and fun stradegies that help the children see that they can have fun in doing chores. For me it is all about showing the children love and care and allowing them to see that you can have fun in a controlled and responsible way, while making the most out of every opportunity. |
| Describe your past childcare experience: |
| I began babysitting at the age of 13 and until now I have had the privilege of babysitting, homeschooling, and mentoring many young children. During my freshman year in highschool, i homeschooled a 6 and 8 yr old in art, history and music class, and have had several other regular babysitting jobs where I have had to take care of babies 6mnth to 1 yr of age and children of all ages. I have had the incredible opportunity of visiting the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua twice, and through these trips I have seen and cared for children in some of the most unbelievable situations. Putting on puppet shows and dramas for the children in orphanages, and having the ability to participate in feeding programs and share love with those who have never known it, has really changed my view on life and on children. I have the love of Christ in my heart which allows me to be filled with love, joy, and compassion as well as strength and diligence to get through every trial with the most positive spirit. I believe that with all the experience and love that I have in my heart for children, that it needs to be shared. I am a very organized and punctual person, and I am always excited to exceed the expectations of any family that I work for. |

| In my past I have been known to be very diligent, organized and punctual. I tend to deal very well when under pressure and am very trustworthy. My goal for the parents is to make sure that they can completely trust me and feel 100% comfortable with me being in their home and with their children. |
