| I wanted to become a nanny because children are our future and if I help only one child fulfill their dreams then I know this world will be better for them. |
| Describe your past childcare experience: |
| I am an experienced nanny, babysitter, and mother for children ranging from infant to grade school. I first started babysitting when I was younger for my cousins and neighbors. It came no surprise when I quickly made a decision to have a career working with children. I am enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program and will be graduating in a year and half. Other than working with children for over eight years I have also had the opportunity raising my own daughter, who is now five. With my previous families I handled not only watching and attending to their children but creating learning opportunities, educational field trips, and lots of playtime. In addition to the children's activities I have assisted with housework, errands, and meal preparation. My personal belief spending a day with children is a pure blessing, I enjoy seeing how children can evolve and move forward toward their future. |
