My past childcare experience: I am an outgoing, free spirited person. I love the outdoors and my beagle. Now to the really important stuff. :) I have worked with children in many settings. I started babysitting when I was 14 years old. I have worked with kids through camps, daycares, and volunteered through various organizations. Some of the reasons I enjoy working with children are that it's rewarding and I know that I'm appreciated. I came to this realization because when I'm outside of work I will see some of the kids I've taken care of and they still remember the fun things we did or want to run up and give me a hug. That's what it's all about for me, yeah it corny but it's the true. I would like to think that I have had a positive influence on some kids lives. I know that they have done that for me. So what I can offer you is an experienced, caring, fun-loving person, that will be a positive role model for your children. I will l treat your children with respect and cherish them.

Additional Comments: I believe that children need structure but you have to be flexible. Kids are not always on the same time schedule as adults, that's the truth. I believe that having a fun time while learning is important. Being active and going outdoors is how kids stay healthy in mind and body. Children also should be social creatures and not by playing video games at a friendís house. Those types of things are rewards not everyday activities. When kids do something "wrong" or make bad decisions, you discuss what could have worked better. You don't punish. I believe that punishment only makes children afraid to tell you the truth. (But I am a team player. I work with in the family rules. In other words, I can learn your way). I can tell you I am not good at being a "bad cop" all the time. I'm very open to ideas and different ways of life
