My past childcare experience: I have experience in many areas of caring. I have 4 children of my own, so I am excellent with children and babies and always treat them like they are my own. I have a natural way with children and they always enjoy me as much as I enjoy them. I am a very dependable, trustworthy, patient and caring person. I adore spending time with children and have over 10 years of experience caring for toddlers and infants. I pride myself on my integrity and honesty. I am currently enrolled at the Anne Arundel Community College and am majoring in early childhood development. I have a certification in child care for infants and toddlers as well as school age children. I am have been certified if First Aid and CPR. I am certified as a Newborn care specialist (NCS) and I am a member of the International Nanny Association (INA). Not only am I patient, caring and nurturing, Iím also extremely organized and very detailed when it comes to the needs of any child. I do not believe in any form of physical punishment but I do believe that there should be some form of dispend or reprimanding when a child has done something wrong or dangerous. I believe that children understand and comprehend well if adults treat them like the can.
Additional Comments: I have a positive attitude each day; I give my best and do my best. My job is important to me and I consider myself to be a team player. I feel like my contributions allow my employers to experience success, and I and what I do matters. I believe my work is valuable and important, and I feel good when I contribute to the success of children in their care as well as to the parents for whom I work. Honesty, integrity, and accountability are of the utmost importance to me. I am always cautious with handling sensitive information, my employerís time and their resources. I take pride in myself and in my work. I put the needs of the children and their care before my own. I do what is needed meet the childrenís needs, from changing diapers to cleaning up after a sick child, and always in a respectful way.
