My past childcare experience: I am a nurturing, caring and professional nanny with a Bachelors degree in Fine Art. I love spending time with children and strive to ensure their safety, well being, and development at all times. My former employers say that my best qualities are being nurturing and dependable. In my previous jobs I have organized my day using the principles of play-based learning and plenty of story-time for language development. My childcare philosophy includes teaching happiness through self-sufficiency and manners. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Art. While attending college I taught at a preschool working in the 2-year-old class. Upon graduation, I worked as a nanny for a wonderful family caring for two boys, ages 4 years old and 5 years old. The following two years I provided full-time child care for a terrific little boy, age 2 years old, who headed off to full-time preschool. For the past two and a half years I have been a nanny for an amazing family with two little boys age 2 years old and 4 years old. Recently I have also become a mother to a happy baby boy who is now 13 months old. I have had the joy of bringing my son to work with me for the past 10 months and would love the opportunity to continue to do so. I am responsible, thoughtful, dependable and organized. I am looking for a family in need of childcare that will allow me to bring my son to work with me. He is a happy healthy 13-month-old boy who is a great playmate. I have my own transportation and I am willing to consider part time or full time positions. I love animals of all kinds, so pets are not a problem. I have an open schedule and am available to start immediately. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know your family.
Additional Comments: I am seeking a position that will allow me to bring my thirteen month old son to work with me. I am also open to the possibility of providing in home came in my home located in Charlotte near Mint Hill very close to Woodlands Restaurant. I have taken CPR classes. I would love to set up a time to talk to learn more about your family and current needs and answer your questions. Letters of Recomendatiom from previous employers: Over the past two and a half years Amanda has become an invaluable member of my family. She cares for my two sons, ages 2 and 4, while I work a hectic schedule. She has always been dependable, responsible, and compassionate. She helps me to keep my family and household running even when I can't be at home. Always up for an adventure, she has accompanied us on trips to the mall, the doctor's office, birthday parties, and even out of town. She has done meal time, bath time, bed time, and some time outs. She is loving and nurturing but knows how to be strict and can discipline when necessary. She spends time with the boys doing the things they love to do, and encourages them to be the best versions of themselves. My children, my pets, and I have come to love and depend on having Amanda in our lives. Amanda - Highly Recommended Amanda is a fantastic nanny who has been working for me eight hours a week for over six months. Her personality is so sweet and kind and she is extremely easy to get along with. Because I have recently undergone surgery on my hip, I have needed round the clock help. In 2011 I used eight different babysitters (I now have a live-in nanny.) Amanda is at the very top of my list of favorites. I have two-year-old twins and a three-year-old, all girls. All of my babysitters are very helpful--watching my children if I need to leave the house and doing light housework for me. BUT sometimes I feel the mommy guilt as soon as I leave the house. I don't feel this guilt with Amanda. Not only does she care for my children and my household the way I would, she provides a level of creativity and intelligence to child care that is on a par with an accredited preschool. She has a college degree in fine art (which is great for coming up with new craft projects for the kids) and reads child development books in her free time at home(!!!). As a woman completely committed to her profession, she views being a nanny as the most challenging and important job out there is (besides motherhood itself). Whether you are a stay-at-home mom or a working mom, she is a cheerleader and helper for you as well as a highly qualified child care professional for your children. She will be a strong asset to any household. Over the past two and a half years Amanda has become an invaluable member of my family. Over the past 2 years, Amanda has not only been a nanny to our son, but she has become part of our family. Her love and care for our son during this time helped shape him into an energetic, intelligent, and charismatic child. Likewise, our son is very fond of Amanda. He is extremely comfortable in her care and always gives her lots of hugs and kisses. Amanda has participated in countless physical therapy sessions with our son, and was always eager to take what she learned and apply it to his daily activities. Amanda has an art education background, and she demonstrates her creative ability in many wonderful art projects with our son. We are accustomed to holiday cards and decorations, as well as colorful gifts for mommy, daddy, and grandparents. She is also a huge proponent of reading and makes regular trips with him to the public library. We always have a fresh stack of books in addition to our own from which our son can select and read with her. Reading has become a necessary routine at bedtime, and even after his afternoon nap. We attribute this to Amanda instilling a love for books in our son! Amanda was eager and willing to take our son to the pool, parks, the bookstore, My Gym, music classes, and always tries to keep Asher active, engaged and occupied. She is trustworthy and reliable. She instills healthy eating habits and good manners in our son. Amanda s devotion to our son was evident from the minute she arrived each morning to the minute she left our home each day. We hope to maintain a long term relationship with Amanda, and continue to have her presence in our son s life as he grows and develops with hopes that he will continue to cherish their relationship as he has the past two years. Her next family will be extremely lucky to have her in their lives! If you would like to contact us regarding Amanda please message her for our contact information. Thanks!
