My past childcare experience: I am currently working as an Office Manager. I am looking for a nanny position again because I miss caring for children. I have been employed with a freight company since June 2011, part-time until April 2013. Since then, I have been full-time. While I worked part-time for this company, from April to June 2011, I also worked as a part-time nanny with a family with a 30-month-old little girl. I was responsible for her primary care (preparing meals, putting down for naps, playing with her, taking her to the park, helping with her developmental skills). I also straightened her play areas. The position was supposed to go full-time in June and did not. Therefore, I accepted full-time employment with my current employer. My previous position was with a family with a 21-month-old girl. I was with this family from November to March. I was responsible for her primary care (preparing meals, bathing, putting down for naps, playing with her, taking her to the park, helping with developmental skills). I also did light housekeeping, the child's laundry, helped with the family laundry and straightened her play areas. This position was a 75 mile commute, and the family was supposed to accommodate me with a suite to stay during the week after two months but they did not. I ended this position because the hour and a half commute each way became too difficult. Previous to this, I was with a family for 21 months. They had three girls, 15 months, 28 months and 9 years old at the time. I was responsible for the primary care (preparing meals, bathing, putting down for naps, playing with them, taking them on walks, helping with developmental skills) of the babies and for the 9-year-old after school. I also did the entire family's laundry, the family's daily dishes, light housekeeping and straightened the children's play areas. From 2006 to 2009, I was with a family with two girls, ages 10 and 13. I was responsible for taking them to and picking them up from school, cooking their dinner, tutoring them, taking them to activities and making sure their chores were completed.
Additional Comments: I am currently not CPR certified but would gladly do so if necessary.
